VIDEO: White House press secretary delivers short remarks on U.S. Capitol riots

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany addressed the press on Thursday with a short statement condemning the violent protests that took place at the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday.

In the statement, McEnany stated that White House officials, including President Trump condemn the actions that took place at the U.S. Capitol "in the strongest possible terms."

McEnany did not take any questions following the statement.

This comes as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other lawmakers call on the Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment or to impeach President Donald Trump from office.
