SCOTTSDALE, AZ — A suspect was arrested after multiple burglaries of a Scottsdale restaurant.

Scottsdale police report that since late January there have been six burglaries of the Salty Senorita Restaurant near Scottsdale and Indian School roads.

After several break-ins and attempts to open the restaurant safe, surveillance cameras were placed inside the business. In the video, the suspect, later identified as 30-year-old Michael Abraham Hardy, is allegedly seen using various tools, including a blow torch to open the safe.

In one video, police say, Hardy removed the covering on his face and looked directly into the camera.

On April 30, patrol officers reportedly saw a man walking through the parking lot of a nearby hotel. They recognized the man as the same person in the surveillance video.

Hardy was arrested at that time and has been charged with possession of burglary tools and multiple counts of burglary.
