An armed man picked a fight with fast-food employees after a dispute over french fries.

Scottsdale Police report that on June 9, Michael Anthony Vasquez, 30, was upset over his order of fries. As McDonald's employees tried to assist him, he reportedly said, "Meet me out back," while exposing a .40 caliber handgun hidden in his waistband.

Police responded to the restaurant near Hayden and McDowell roads and found Vasquez armed and inside the restaurant.

He allegedly admitted to police that he was upset over his order and wanted to fight the employees because they "disrespected him" by tossing a carton of fries across the counter at him.

Vasquez has been charged with disorderly conduct and aggravated assault.
