Scottsdale police arrested two professional athletes within 20 minutes on Friday morning March 4th.

Many people heard of the Terrell Suggs arrestaround 2 a.m. last Friday morning for driving with a suspended license. He was cited for the suspended license and leaving the scene of an accident.

About 20 minutes later, and 15 miles away, Scottsdale police were arresting 25-year-old Geoffrey Adam Broussard on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Police say Broussard was stopped for several traffic violations at Hayden and Indian School Roads. He showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUI.

MLB.com shows Broussard signing a minor league contract with the Anaheim Angels last February as a pitcher.

He's been playing with the Arkansas Travelers who are the Class AA affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim since 2001.

Lately, several athletes have been stopped by Scottsdale police.

At the end of February, former Arizona State Sun Devil Jaelen Strong was arrested in Scottsdale for possession of marijuana.

On Monday, video surfaced of former ASU quarterback Brock Osweiler being attacked outside a Scottsdale pizza shop, although reports say he was not fighting back.
