A woman hid in her bathroom with her young child as police captured a burglary suspect leaving her home in Phoenix.
Phoenix police report that on September 21, a man, later identified as 24-year-old Lorenzo Hernandez, broke down the front door of the home near 43rd Avenue and Osborn Road and stole a woman's purse.
The female victim, inside the home, grabbed her young son and hid with him in the bathroom.
Police say they saw Hernandez leaving the home, using plastic bags wrapped around his hands, like gloves. Police report he was also holding the victim’s purse.
Hernandez has been charged with burglary.
