A Chandler man was arrested last month for attempting to rob two men. Unfortunately, he wasn't all that convincing since he walked away with nothing.

According to court records, a man pulled into a parking lot near Ray Road and Arizona Avenue on March 25 after noticing something was wrong with his vehicle. He got out to inspect it and noticed one of his tires had been slashed.

That is when 23-year-old Emanuel Junior Sausedo allegedly put a gun to the man's head and demanded money. Police said the victim told Sausedo that he only had $30 on him and the suspect left with nothing.

Sausedo is also accused in a similar incident involving another man in a parking lot. Police said Sausedo demanded cigarettes from a victim and indicated that he had a gun. He again walked away without any loot.

Police released surveillance video of the incident and an anonymous source contacted police and identified Sausedo as the suspect.

He has been charged with armed robbery and criminal damage.
