Apartment staffers caught and held a burglar who robbed a couple of apartments, including taking a cell phone from a man in a wheelchair.

Police say that on May 24, Kristine Jean Swanson, 27, reportedly entered an apartment near 36th Street and Thomas Road through an unlocked door.  She stole the cell phone of a wheelchair bound man who couldn't stop her.

Police say the apartment manager noticed the door to her apartment was locked when she usually keeps it unlocked. She grabbed a key from the office and unlocked the door, then went back to the office to return the key. When she arrived back at her apartment, the door was locked again.

The manager then reportedly went into the apartment through another door and saw Swanson going through her jewelry. She grabbed Swanson and dragged her outside, where other apartment workers assisted in holding Swanson in a chair until police arrived.

Police say the cell phone from the first victim and jewelry from the second victim were found in Swanson's pockets. Swanson is facing multiple burglary charges.
