PHOENIX — A suspect allegedly involved in a deadly shooting over the weekend has been captured, according to Phoenix police.
Sammy Williams, 23, was arrested shortly after 8 p.m. on January 15 in the area of 35th Avenue and Beardsely Road.
Williams was booked into the 4th Avenue Jail where he is being held for charges of first-degree murder after he allegedly shot and killed 30-year-old Deonsay Adams on Saturday, Jan. 11, near 35th and Dunlap avenues.

Court records show that Williams served four months in prison for aggravated DUI in 2018.
He has been charged with first-degree murder and will be held on a $1,000,000 bond.
