A Phoenix burglar was found eating donuts in a stranger's house.
Phoenix police report that on August 25 a man returned to his home, near 24th and Van Buren Street around 2:30 a.m. and noticed his lights on and the door open.
Police say when he entered his apartment he saw items thrown around and the suspect, 39-year-old Miguel Junior Aguilar, sitting on his couch, eating his donuts.
Aguilar fled the scene as the victim called the police. About an hour later he was spotted by police and ran. He was soon tracked down by K-9 officers and arrested.
Police report that Aguilar had a backpack with him with several items inside that belong to the victim. They say he was allegedly wearing a pair of shorts that belong to the victim as well.
Aguilar has been charged with burglary.
