PHOENIX — Police found and arrested a naked man after he allegedly attacked a woman, biting her hip in central Phoenix.

Phoenix police report that early Sunday morning, they were called to 7th Street and Indian School Road, where they found a woman who had been assaulted. The woman reported that a man, naked from the waist down, approached her and tried to hug her.

The woman resisted, but the man, later identified as 18-year-old Aurelio Valenzuela, jumped on her back, grabbed her genitals, and struck her in the back of the head. Police say Valenzuela also bit her on her hip hard enough to break the skin.

Police located Valenzuela, naked and lying down on the side of the road about a half-mile away. Upon his arrest, Valenzuela allegedly admitted to "tripping on acid," and thought it was a dream.

He did remember biting the woman, police say.

Valenzuela was arrested for indecent exposure, assault, and sexual abuse.
