Police say a Mesa man is accused of molesting three victims in separate incidents since 2009.

Mesa police report that three victims, who have no knowledge of each other, have come forward to accuse one man of molesting them.

Police say that in 2009 Jason Alvin Hines, now 38 years old, allegedly touched a teenage girl under her bathing suit as they were in a hot tub with other children.

Police say Hines was a family friend and threatened to harm the victim's mother is she told her about the incident. The same teenager told investigators that this was not the only time Hines behaved in this way.

Police also report that in 2013 a woman, who met Hines on an online dating website, said that Hines inappropriately touched her pre-teen daughter. Hines was interviewed and denied touching the victim saying he was just checking to make sure she did not wet the bed.

In June 2016, another woman reported to police that Hines touched her adolescent daughter and took pictures of her. Hines and the victim's mother were dating after meeting on an online dating website," court paperwork said.

Hines reportedly told police that he was using his cell phone flashlight to check on the girl after she used the restroom.

Police say the victims have "no prior or current knowledge of one another and are similar in age."

Police arrested Hines on Aug.16 at his home in Mesa near Recker and Brown roads.

Hines is being held on a $150,000 bond on child molestation charges.
