PHOENIX — A Phoenix man has been arrested, accused of threatening his neighbors with a large machete.
Phoenix police report that on May 14 they arrested 59-year-old Oscar Antonio Salgado at an apartment complex near 32nd and Roosevelt streets.
Witnesses reported to police that Salgado lifted a three foot machete above his head while threatening to fight with apartment residents.
He also allegedly made a throat-slashing gesture with his hand.
Witness retreated into their apartment and contacted police.
Salgado was arrested by police shortly afterward.
He has been charged with disorderly conduct.
