A man is accused of stealing security cameras from a west Phoenix church earlier this month.
Phoenix Police reported that on May 16 and 18, Christopher Dale Hare, 30, removed security cameras —that were in use at the time — from the United Methodist Church, near 59th Avenue and Camelback Road.
Police say he cut the wires and removed the cameras from the stucco walls. He then allegedly sold the cameras for drug money.
He has been charged with burglary and trafficking in stolen property.
