A male patient at a Scottsdale hospital reportedly sent his minor girlfriend to the hospital parking lot to deal drugs for him.

Scottsdale police say that on July 26 they were contacted by officials at Scottsdale Hospital-Thompson Peak.

Hospital staff contacted police after they found a patient, 35-year-old Andrew Brennan Woods, and his 17-year-old girlfriend passed out in his hospital room from suspected drug use.

The girl reportedly told police that she has been in a sexual relationship with Woods since she was 15-years-old. She told police that the heroin, found by hospital staff, belonged to Woods. She also said that while he was a patient he sent her to the hospital parking lot to exchange drugs for money.

Police say the girl sold Xanax, marijuana, methamphetamine, and heroin. She said she did this because Woods told her he needed the money or he would lose his apartment.

Woods is being held on a $100,000 bond on charges of sexual conduct with a minor, using a minor for drug offenses and drug possession.
