A Mesa man allegedly punched and threw a friend out of his home after witnessing him molest a family member.
Police report that on March 20, a friend allowed 39-year-old Todd Allen Weyant to spend the night at his home.
The man says he woke up the next morning and heard what he described as "kissing sounds." When he went into the next room, he allegedly saw Weyant on top of his family member, kissing him.
Weyant reportedly said, "I'm sorry," right before the man punched him in the face and threw him out of the home.
The victim reportedly said that he was sexually assaulted by Weyant. Mesa police say they are awaiting analysis from the sexual assault kit. They also report that Weyant has been accused of molesting four other boys on three different occasions, but there wasn't enough evidence to charge him with any of those crimes.
Weyant is being held on $250,000 bond on multiple charges of child molestation and sexual conduct with a minor.
