PHOENIX — An extreme DUI suspect took a toddler on a beer run in South Phoenix, according to police.
Phoenix police report that around 1 a.m. on April 6, they detained 25-year-old Orlando Lee Eschief in the parking lot of a Circle K near 32nd Street and Broadway Road.
Police were called to the scene for a reported beer run, where Eschief was accused of taking three 30-packs of beer.
Eschief allegedly admitted to drinking two beers. However, police say, his blood-alcohol level was .257 -- more than three times the legal limit.
Police also found a 2-year-old child in the backseat of Eschief’s car.
He's been charged with aggravated DUI and shoplifting.
