Court records show that friendly Facebook insults became personal when one 15-year-old boy stabbed his two friends.

Mesa police report that on November 27, they were called to a home near Main and Horne Streets in Mesa for a stabbing call.

They found two teens stabbed, one suffering from stab wounds in the abdomen and shoulder and the other was stabbed twice in the arm.

According to one of the victims, the suspect and victims are all friends. He also reportedly told police that the first victim and the suspect had been "roasting each other on Facebook Messenger all day." He said this was a common thing for both to do to each other. He said the interaction became heated and they both began threatening each other.

Later that night, the 15-year-old suspect came to the victim's home, and when the victim came to the door, he was stabbed by the suspect.

Police say the suspect used a 10-inch kitchen knife and the stab wounds made multiple holes in the victim's colon and the cut to the shoulder was four inches deep causing an 'arterial cut.'

The other victim came to his aid, firing a pellet gun and striking the suspect in the chest. He the tussled with the suspect and was stabbed twice in the arm.

Police say the suspect was located and arrested two days later. He's been charged in juvenile court with aggravated assault.
