A Glendale man is behind bars for allegedly attacking his girlfriend and her friend.
Police report that on the morning of Jan. 28, Wesley Keith Johnson, 44, was drinking at a bar when he called his girlfriend and threatened to kill her. The victim was able to record the threat and later shared it with police.
The woman left her home with her child and went to a friend's home in Glendale. Johnson found her later that night and started pounding on the apartment door — eventually breaking the door down and entering the apartment.
According to police, the woman hid in a bedroom with her friend and their two kids. Johnson was able to get into the room after punching through the door.
Johnson allegedly attacked both women, including hitting the woman's friend who was holding her infant child at the time of the assault.
The suspect is then accused of grabbing her girlfriend and dragging her into the kitchen, police said. He allegedly assaulted her with a frying pan and attempted to strangle her. He also grabbed a knife, pointed it to her chest and threatened to cut out her breast implants.
The woman suffered "22 documented injuries," police said.
Johnson was located and arrested four days after the alleged assault.
He is being held on a $100,000 bond and has been charged with multiple counts of aggravated assault.
