Police arrested suspect accused of knocking another man unconscious after hitting on his wife at a Tempe bar.

Court documents show that on March 13 around 2 a.m. Sean Anthony Racioppo, 24, was making unwanted advances toward a woman at Fat Tuesday's Bar in Tempe near Mill Avenue and University Drive.

Police say Racioppo tried to get the woman to leave with him, even after being told several times by her and her husband to leave them alone.

After the bar closed for the night, Racioppo continued to harass the couple. The husband, while turning his attention away from Racioppo, was "sucker punched" and fell to the ground unconscious.

Racioppo ran away fromn the area, but was caught by Tempe police a short distance away.

The staff at Fat Tuesday's provided medical care to the victim until paramedics arrived.

He reportedly suffered a broken bone around his eye and "brain bleed." He was transported to Scottsdale Healthcare-Osborn where doctors say he'll be spending some time in intensive care.

Racioppo has been charged with aggravated assault.
