A Phoenix man was arrested on Feb. 11 after witnesses said they saw him expose himself in a hallway at the Desert Kids Pediatric building near 19th and Glendale Avenues.

Court documents show that two witnesses, a woman and a 17-year-old girl, saw a man in the hallway of the building exposing himself near the drinking fountain.

Police circulated the area after getting a description of the man by the witnesses.

Officials said they found 25-year-old Devin Michael Pittman hiding behind a pillar outside of a Fry's grocery store down the street. He matched the description given by the witnesses and was wearing the same clothing, police said.

The witnesses later identified Pittman as the man they saw in the building.

Pittman told police that he was in the pediatric building earlier and he also admitted to using marijuana and methamphetamine and the drugs "may have affected his judgment." He also admitted to exposing himself in front of the woman and teen, calling it a "bad decision."

Pittman is facing two counts of public sexual indecency.
