"I'm an idiot," says a former employee who is recognized by the store owner as he robs a nutritional store in North Phoenix.

Court records show that on June 29, a man who recently worked at 'One Stop Nutrition' broke into the store and robbed it of over $3,200 in products. He was recognized on surveillance video by the owner and another employee.

Police say that 25-year-old Blake William Webber smashed the window of the store near 7th Street and Bell Road. He then allegedly took about $3,200 in products plus cash. Police say Webber slipped on the broken glass, on his way out of the store leaving blood drops in the store.

The business owner and another employee recognized Webber from the security camera footage. As the owner  was talking with police, he was alerted that his other store, near 32nd Street and Greenway Road, was being robbed.

When they arrived at that location, the glass was also shattered. Later that night, the store owner spotted Webber at a nearby Circle K and contacted police.

Webber was found with a backpack containing several stolen items and cash stolen from the store.

When interviewed by police Webber simply stated, "I'm an idiot," but made no other comments because, "he didn't want to say anything to get himself in trouble."

Webber has been charged with two counts of burglary.
