A man is credited with capturing a suspect who tried to steal his motorcycle and threatened him at knife-point.
Glendale police say the victim was visiting a friend at his home near 91st and Glendale avenues on Friday, when he heard his own motorcycle starting up.
The victim ran out after the suspect, 42-year-old Jody Field, and managed to catch up to the bike and knock Field off of it.
Field reportedly threatened to stab the victim, but the man was able to hold Field down on the ground until police arrived.
Police say they found a "sharp metal object, about 12-inches long" in Field's shirt sleeve.
He has been charged with vehicle theft and threatening.
