A Glendale man has been arrested after allegedly molesting his daughter's friend on two occasions.

Court records show that a young teenage girl was invited to her friend's home for a sleepover and was molested by the girl's father, as the two girls were in bed.

Glendale Police report that on July 6 a 13-year-old girl was spending the night at her friend's home. As the two were lying in bed around 4 a. m., the father, 50-year-old Genesis Munoz, came into the room. The girl told police she laid still in the bed; thinking she would be in trouble for being up so late.

Munoz reportedly, touched the girl inappropriately as she lay in the bed with her friend. The victim flinched and Munoz left the room.

Police say Munoz came back to the room later, as if nothing had happened, and asked the victim how she slept.

The victim contacted her mother who came and got her.

Police report that as they interviewed the victim, she recalled another time when she was with her friend's family at a resort at Lake Pleasant, when Munoz inappropriately touched her, while she was sleeping. She said she didn't mention it to her mother because she thought she may have imagined it.

The police had the mother call Munoz, who allegedly admitted to the two incidents and apologized. He reportedly said he wasn't sure why he did it but it may have been out of curiosity.

Munoz is being held on $200,000 bond on charges of child molestation and sexual abuse.
