SCOTTSDALE – CIVANA is once again lighting up the sky for Independence Day weekend with a spectacular show of 100 custom LED-lit drones on July 6.
CIVANA is a wellness resort located in Scottsdale. Along with their light show, the resort will be offering other Fourth of July weekend festivities such as spa packages, culinary offerings and even a block party. If you needed plans for the holiday before, look no further!
So, why a drone show? Where are the fireworks? Drones are actually safer for the audience and have a less harmful effect on the environment. There is less noise, pollution, and waste of one-use materials. Plus, you still get all the excitement of a nighttime spectacular!
“We are thrilled to bring this festive aerial light show back to CIVANA again this year” said CIVANA CEO Maggie Lang. “The show was incredibly well-received last year, and we, with support from the Town of Carefree, hope to continue this as an earth-friendly ‘fireworks’ tradition and celebration for years to come.”
The aerial light show is presented by Firefly Drone Shows and will take place on Saturday, July 6 from 8:45-9 p.m. and is open to both resort guests and the public. Before the drone show, you can enjoy the community block party from 7-9:30 p.m. They invite everyone to enjoy live music, food, drinks, and family fun!
Beware of parking! CIVANA parking is limited and costs $25 a spot. There is street parking but since it is first-come, first-serve, it might be a good idea to secure a spot early.
