Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. said it's made a deal with DoorDash to have some of its health and wellness products delivered directly to homes.
Deerfield, Illinois-based Walgreens said DoorDash will immediately begin delivering an assortment of 2,300 of its products in the markets of Chicago, Atlanta and Denver.
By the end of the year, Walgreens said it will offer delivery on more than of its 5,000 products with the delivery service expanding to Cincinnati, Cleveland, Minneapolis, Oklahoma City, Phoenix, Sacramento and Seattle.
“We continue to offer additional ways to get essential retail products into the hands of customers at their door stoop or wherever and whenever is most convenient for them," said Stefanie Kruse, vice president, digital commerce and omni-channel at Walgreens, in a statement.
