One unexpected effect of dwindling airport traffic during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic has been an increase in traveler satisfaction. And Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport tops a new ranking among the largest North American airports.
Sky Harbor ranked first in the overall customer satisfaction rating in the 15th annual J.D. Power 2020 North America Airport Satisfaction Study assessing mega category airports around the continent.
The Phoenix airport had a score of 805 on a 1,000-point scale.
It’s a jump from last year’s score of 770, which placed Phoenix in seventh place in the mega category.
