Phoenix Police Department officers are on the lookout for businesses that are still operating even though they’ve been ordered to close during the coronavirus outbreak.

In a 3-minute YouTube video posted Tuesday night, Phoenix Police Chief Jeri Williams announced a number of temporary measures to help combat the new coronavirus, including informing bars and gyms of Gov. Doug Ducey’s order to close down during the outbreak.

“Our officers are responding to businesses, providing education about the local and state order requiring bars, restaurants, gyms and movie theaters to close,” Williams said in her address.

“Our community relations and community action officers will be providing educational material to businesses that are not following the executive order.”
