Fast food giant McDonald’s Corp. said it will undertake a major hiring push this summer as it reopens dining rooms across the country and in Phoenix.
The hamburger chain will hire about 260,000 restaurant employees throughout the United States this summer, and specifically in Phoenix, it is looking for 1,200 new employees.
McDonald’s has a total of 54 Phoenix-area locations and did not have to permanently shut down any due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“It was important to us to stay open through drive-thru, takeout and delivery to serve our communities throughout the Covid-19 crisis,” McDonald’s franchise owner and operator Michelle Slayton said in a statement.
