Frontier Airlines has become the first U.S. airline to mandate temperature screenings for all passengers and crew members before they board flights.

The new measure began Monday and joins other health precautions instituted by the airline to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Those include a requirement for all passengers and crew members to wear face coverings, enhanced air filtration and beefed-up cleaning and disinfection.

Under the new policy, passengers with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher will not be allowed to board a Frontier flight.
