Banner Health, which this year became the largest employer in the state of Arizona, has plenty of reasons to pay a hefty salary to president and CEO Peter Fine.
Tax document filings show the company does just that.
According to the IRS Form 990 filed by the Phoenix-based nonprofit for 2017, the most recent year available, Fine received total compensation of $25.5 million.
A year earlier his total take was $8.7 million, and a year before that it was $5.3 million.
