INSTANBUL, Turkey — An Algerian teen’s heroic actions likely saved the life of a little girl who fell from a second-story window in Instanbul, Turkey.
According to the BBC, 17-year-old Feuzi Zabaat was on the street when he noticed a toddler in a window above.
The BBC says the child fell out of the open window while her mother was cooking.
Video shows Zabaat jumping into action, catching the little girl in his arms before she hit the ground. Other bystanders are then seen running to their aid.
Australian news outlet ABC says the child was not injured and the family gave the teen a monetary reward for his heroic actions.
