Mattel releasing 'Day of the Dead' Barbie doll, according to reports

Mattel is releasing a limited-edition Day of the Dead Barbie this month.

According to reports, “Barbie Dia de Muertos” will go on sale on September 12. Yahoo reports it will retail for $75.

Yahoo says the doll will feature makeup and apparel commonly associated with the Mexican holiday that honors loved ones who have died.

Photos of the doll show a long black gown with colorful ruffles, embroidered flowers, skulls and butterflies. She has a crown of flowers and butterflies in her hair and makeup depicting a colorful skull.

Dia de Los Muertos begins on October 31 and runs though November 2.
