MILWAUKEE, AZ — A 2-year-old girl is still missing after the suspect in a Milwaukee Amber Alert was taken into custody.

Milwaukee Police Department says 33-year-old Dariaz Higgins was apprehended by police on Wednesday. Another person was arrested Wednesday for harboring and aiding Higgins, who was considered a fugitive.

Higgins was wanted by police after the homicide of Sierra Robinson, the child's mother, on Monday.

ABC15 sister station TMJ4 says Robinson was killed in a double shooting, and officials determined the child, Noelani Robinson, was missing from the scene.

Noelani, who is Higgins’ 2-year-old child, remains missing.

Officials say Noelani is about two feet tall, 30 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Milwaukee Police at 1-414-935-7022 or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.
