And this little piggy went to piggy yoga…
That’s right “piggy yoga”! It’s a new kind of yoga to help stretch out those hamstrings. Get it.
It’s sort of like goat yoga except the pigs don’t jump on your backs while you’re in the downward dog position. In piggy yoga, the animals are used to help guide anyone while they do yoga poses or stretches.
An hour long session costs $20 per person and the money goes to a nonprofit shelter as well as rescue efforts for pigs.
The pigs used in piggy yoga are from the Better Piggies Rescue in Gilbert. Owner and director Danielle Betterman came up with the idea recently and has already seen a lot of people signed up.
If you wish to particiapate in this new style of yoga, you can visit the “Better Piggy Yoga” Facebook page. Better Piggy Yoga is located on 24th Street and Carefree Highway in Phoenix, Arizona.
