PHOENIX – Now through Aug. 23, you can view artwork made from cans by local Arizona teams at the Phoenix Convention Center.
These pieces of art were made by 11 teams that took about 12 hours to make. They had a 10x10x10 foot space to use to build beginning last Saturday. The cans used must be nonperishable so that when the competition is done, the cans can be donated to St. Mary’s Food Bank!
“The American Institute of Architects Phoenix Metro Chapter will host the 13th Annual CANSTRUCTION® Design Build Competition, August 17-23, 2019 at the Phoenix Convention Center (100 N 3rd St, Phoenix, AZ). All proceeds from the event will benefit St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance.”
