Build-A-Bear is in the building — select Walmart buildings, to be exact.
The company recently announced the launch of “test stores” in select Walmart locations throughout the country. Phoenix is one of the locations on that list.
Tuesday, a Build-A-Bear Workshop opened up inside the Walmart at 5250 W. Indian School Road in Phoenix. Perhaps the best news of all is that customers can expect the same experience at Walmart, as if they were at a Build-A-Bear in the mall.
The bear brand also announced their new launch of DIY plush sets. The sets include a pink kitty and a rainbow bear. The cutest part is that they come with a birth certificate and a heart locket. According to a press release, the new sets are “exclusively” available in U.S. Walmart stores.
California, Texas and Florida are among the other lucky states that’ll also get to see Build-A-Bear Workshops in select Walmarts.
