Netflix’s Tidying Up with Marie Kondo is making viewers want to go the minimalist route.

After debuting earlier this month, the show has already become a cultural phenomenon.

So much so that Arizona comedians, Leeann and Michelle, decided to center their latest parody on Kondo’s minimalist technique.

“Marcella the Minimalist (and Kathy)” stars Leeann as Marcella and Michelle as Kathy, the translator (you’ll only get it if you’ve seen the Netflix show).

The comedians hilariously go back and forth performing what some might call a minimalist’s internal monologue.

Assuming their roles, the duo begin their parody by making comments like, “You must fold everything into a rectangle” and “I watch everything the internet tells me to do. I have no original thoughts.”

The parody takes us to Marcella’s closet where the concept of minimalism is put on full display.

“I would like to show you my shirts,” jokes Leeann in character as she lifts a single hanger displaying the one shirt in her closet.

The episode goes on to joke about concepts like her “multi-season” bottoms and the “sock rule.”

This video is sure be good laugh for anyone, even minimalists.
