UberEATS is coming to Phoenix.

The ride-share company whose drivers typically take you home from the bar or to and from the airport can now bring you lunch (or dinner) when you're stuck at the office or watching the kids soccer game.

Uber has been offering the service for a while in other cities like Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Texas, and New York.

On Tuesday, the service will launch here in the Valley and the typical $3.99 delivery fee will be waived for those wanting to test it out.

So far thirteen restaurants have signed up with Uber including The Gladly, The Vig, The Clever Koi, Four Peaks and The Larder + Delta within DeSoto Central Market, and, according to a rep, more restaurants will be added.

HOW IT WORKS:

  • Download the UberEATS app
  • Type in the address where the food will be delivered
  • Pick your order and pay for it
  • Wait for it to arrive
