Street Food Cinema, a California-based concept that screens movies on outdoor projection screens, alongside food trucks and music, has canceled all of its events in Phoenix for the year.
The company made the announcement Monday on its social media pages.
"Due to significant changes in our production schedule, we are canceling all Phoenix events in 2018. We truly apologize for any inconvenience," a Facebook post read. "Our goal is to return in 2019."
According to an online schedule, events were listed for April, May and September, but it is not clear specifically how many events were canceled.
Tuesday afternoon, founders Steve Allison & Heather Hope-Allison released the following statement:
"As huge fans of the Phoenix market, we look forward to returning to a full slate for our loyal attendees in 2019. Currently as opportunities and partnerships in market rapidly expand, it requires us to redesign our beloved experience for such a vastly changing market."
Admission to Street Food Cinema varied between $6-$17 per event, depending if tickets were for a child or adult, general admission or reserved, and bought in advance or at the event.

Street Food Cinema launched in California in 2012. It expanded to Phoenix in 2016.
