The Phoenix Zoo will stay open two hours later throughout the month of March to let guests take advantage of the cooler evenings.

The Zoo will stay open until 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday until the end of March. The Zoo's Friday and weekend hours -- 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. -- will remain the same, the zoo said.

Members will be allowed early entry starting at 8 a.m.

The zoo said some animals may be off exhibit in the evenings due to feed schedules and welfare issues. Stingray Bay, the 4-D theatre and carousel will be open though.

General admission is $24.95 for adults (14+) and $14.95 for children (3-13).
