When it's hot in Arizona, you look for a cold treat to cool off.

California-based Nekter Juice Bar is adding a dessert item to its menu.

Skoops are described as a "dairy-free, gluten-free, guilt-free 'skoop' of indulgence," in its announcement. It is made with cashew milk, honey, agave nectar, coconut palm sugar and sea salt.

It does not have artificial colors, flavors or refined sugars, according to the release.

To start, there will be two flavors: Chocolate Bliss and Viva Vanilla. It will be made daily, and in small batches, at each Nekter location, the release said.

Up to three toppings, such as coconut flakes, vegan chocolate chips or fresh fruit, can be added for $1.

The normal cost will be $4.25.

On June 9, from 6 p.m. to close, Nekter locations will have "Free Skoop Night" and will be giving away the treat for free to guests.

A spokesperson confirmed to ABC15 that all twelve Phoenix-area Nekter locations will be participating.
