There is something transfixing about watching cars get crushed and set on fire.

When they have a name like "Robosaurus" and transform from a typical semi-truck into a 40-foot-tall, 30-ton metal-ripping beast that makes your ears perk up.

For the 90s kid, it's like when the Power Rangers morphed into their butt-kicking robots or when Bumblebee transformed from a Camaro into an autobot.

In October, there will be a lot of drag racing, revving engines and car crushing as Mega Monster Madness returns to Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona.

Robosaurus will destroy vehicles and a Jelly Belly-themed stagecoach will pop a wheely and race down the track, according to organizers. Show up earlier and you'll be able to climb on a monster truck.

There will also be food, a giant sandbox and a fireworks show.
