Arizonans are mourning the loss of an Arizona music legend, Lawrence Zubia of the Pistoleros.
Zubia became a popular face of the local rock scene back in the '90s as the frontman of the Pistoleros.
The Crescent Ballroom and former Attorney General Grant Woods are among those paying tribute to the late icon.

According to a GoFundMe created by his daughter, Zubia was battling chronic pancreatitis and needed surgery in April 2020.
However, a cause of death is unknown.
