If you are one of the broken-hearted Disney fans who had to cancel your trip to Disneyland or Disney World due to the coronavirus pandemic, here is something that may cure your stay-at-home blues: Dole Whip beer!

Yes, a genius brewmaster has found a way to create a beer that has the flavors of the iconic Disney treat. The Dole Whip has been a mouse-must since its creation back in 1968. Made with pineapple juice, frozen pineapple and vanilla soft serve, it’s the perfect way to beat the heat while you’re waiting in line for the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad or Peter Pan’s Flight. (Big ups to Disney for finally revealing their secret Dole Whip recipe to help us cope with being stuck at home.)

There have been other adult twists on the Dole Whip, including a margarita, but Gainesville, Florida’s First Magnitude Brewing Co. came up with yet another new way to sip on this fan favorite. Their Dole Whip Sour pays homage to everything you love about the tart frozen pineapple treat. As First Magnitude explains on Instagram, it’s a sour beer brewed with Dole Whip mix and pineapple puree, so it has the perfect amount of bite.

Unfortunately, Dole Whip Sour sold out faster than you can say “Happiest Place on Earth.” Not to worry. According to Popsugar, First Magnitude Brewing Co. promises that this won’t be the last time they brew it.

In the meantime, check out another of First Magnitude’s creative concoctions that seems perfect for summer, their Cherry Limeade Sour. Made with real sweet cherries and lime, this beer sounds like it deserves a starring role at your 2020 socially-distanced pool parties.

Or check out their Black is Beautiful stout, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to supporting racial equality efforts in their Gainesville community:

If you live in or near Gainseville, you can order beers via the First Magnitude website for pickup and then swoop through their drive-thru or keep an eye out for their food truck.
