On Sunday night, Chrissy Teigen shared a video of herself getting ready for a date night with her husband John Legend. After weeks of mostly silence on social media following the loss of her child — Teigen gave birth to her stillborn son about halfway through her pregnancy in late September — her fans are delighted to have Teigen back.

But it wasn’t only her typical self-deprecating humor (she tweeted about getting used to her “naturally frowny mouth”) and glam little black dress that followers appreciated. Teigen also revealed a very special tribute to her son, Jack.

Capturing a tender moment from their date night, Teigen tweeted a picture of the couple holding hands across a table. On the inside of her wrist, written in script, is the name Jack.

Comments from Teigen’s followers quickly poured in. Many of them shared photos of their own tattoo tributes to their children, as well as their own stories of pregnancy loss. The wide range of remembrance tattoos shared on the Twitter thread include everything from a Celtic trinity in honor of lost triplets to hearts, flowers and meaningful quotes.

One woman, Heather E (@engineer820), wrote that she has been “trying to find the best tattoo to represent my stillborn son for 13 years.”

To which Teigen replied, “Let’s help you find something you love.”

Teigen’s latest tattoo tribute joins the names John, Luna and Miles already on her arm, naming husband John Legend, their 4-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son. And Legend has a matching tat reading “Chrissy Luna Miles.”

Teigen shared a photo of their ink on Instagram in 2019, revealing that the artist behind the work was Los Angeles-based Daniel Winter, aka Winter Stone. Winter also shared an image of Teigen’s tattoo for Jack on his own social media, revealing that it is a freehand, single-needle design — his signature style.

What a lovely way to remember her baby son!
