Tampa women accused of stealing $3K in merchandise from Target, using kids as lookouts

CLEARWATER, Fla. — A group of women are facing retail theft charges after stealing more than 200 items from a Target in Clearwater and using their kids as lookouts, according to arrest records.

Clearwater Police say 38-year-old Katiria Molina, 35-year-old Grisela Molina and 31-year-old Marivella Molina stole more than $3,000 worth of miscellaneous items.

Police say they targeted the store on Gulf to Bay in Clearwater. Records show that all three women live in Tampa.

According to records, the women used hand bags to hide the stolen items, which included makeup, diapers and a breast pump, before leaving the store without paying.

All three face a felony retail theft charge, but records show that Marivella and Grisela also face charges for contributing to the delinquency or dependency of a child.

The two women are accused of using their children as lookouts during the theft and allowing the kids to pick out items to be stolen, according to records.

After their arrest, all three women admitted to taking the items with no intention of paying for them, records show.
