Maricopa County Sheriff's officials have arrested a 28-year-old man accused of carrying out an armed robbery at a Sun City West store.

Bob's variety store was robbed last Friday afternoon by a suspect who entered the store, asked for a pen and paper and wrote "Give me $ I have a gun don't scream", MCSO says.

The employee who he gave the note to saw the suspect pull a black handgun out of his pants and the employee handed over $80 cash from the register.

The suspect fled the scene, but when investigators arrived at the store, they were able to pull a fingerprint off of the letter he wrote at the store. Officials were then working to locate Ryan Brooks.

Detectives reportedly executed a search warrant at the Brooks' home, but found him in a nearby dumpster.

He was arrested and booked into jail on an armed robbery charge.
