Around a thousand people were without power on Monday morning after a vehicle crashed into a power pole in the West Valley.
The collision happened about 2:30 a.m. on Monday in the area of 83rd Avenue and Broadway Road.
One of the vehicles took out a few power poles resulting in a power outage in the area. Approximately 1,100 Salt River Project customers lost power.
A woman was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and a man was seen running from the crash.
Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department is on-scene investigating.
