A west Phoenix mom allegedly found a man hiding in her daughter's closet after touching her inappropriately.

Court records show that a man was found hiding in a closet with his hands covering his face after he allegedly touched a teenage girl in an inappropriate way.

Police say that around 1 a.m. on November 24, they were called to a home in west Phoenix where a teenage girl was touched in a sexual manner by 29-year-old Yasmani Fernandez Vazquez.

They reported that the girl was sleeping in her bed when Vazquez entered the room. He hid in the closet when hearing a noise but came out again and allegedly resumed touching the girl. He ran back into the closet after the girl's mother opened the locked door with a screwdriver.

The mother reported to police that she found Vazquez hiding in the closet with his hands covering his face.

The mother threw him out of the house and called the police.

Vazquez is facing several charges including kidnapping and sexual contact with a minor.
