TODAY: 5 museums offering free, discounted entry

It's International Museum Day and to celebrate some of the museums in the Valley are offering free or discounted admission.

If you're free, why not check out and support the many museums that are practically in your backyard.

HEARD MUSEUM

The Heard Museum if offering 2-for-1 admission for general or senior admission. Make sure to mention International Museum Day when purchasing your ticket at the museum. It is only valid for May 18. View details here.

PHOENIX ART MUSEUM

The Phoenix Art Museum is offering free general admission all day, May 18. It is also offering 10 percent discounts at its store and restaurant. View details here.

PUEBLO GRANDE MUSEUM

The Pueblo Grande Museum is offering free admission all day for International Museum Day. They have volunteers ready to give you a tour and talk artifacts.

Admission is always free, however, for International Museum Day the Chandler Museum is taking some of their traveling exhibits on the road. They'll be at City Hall, the downtown Chandler library, and outside the McCullough-Price House location. View details here.
